David L. Blain Appointed to Board of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh

David L. Blain has been appointed to the board of directors of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh. The Most Reverend Michael F. Burbidge, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Raleigh, installed Mr. Blain along with five other new board members at a Mass preceding the July 17, 2010 board meeting.

“We are very pleased to have these new board members join us and look forward to their contributions to our organization,” said Kathleen Walsh, ACSW, Diocesan Director of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh.

Catholic Charities is a private, nonprofit, social service agency serving the people of Eastern North Carolina. For over 100 years we have continued a rich tradition of providing a wide range of services through seven regional offices. All programs are available to individuals and families regardless of race, creed, religion, or ability to pay.
